An epic adventure that takes place across two eras of Japanese history, OTOGI ZOSHI is an anime series that takes the viewer from feudal Japan to the modern day while exploring the experiences of two girls named Hikaru. VOLUME FOUR: MODERN HISTORY collects episodes 14-18 of the anime program, the first episodes that occur in the contemporary setting.
